SABRE Limited Warranty Policy
At SABRE, we stand behind the quality of our products. Each eligible product is covered by a limited warranty, which protects against manufacturing defects, as outlined below.
Product Covered by Warranty
- Pepper Sprays and Gels: All pepper sprays are warrantied through their expiration date (found on the canister) for manufacturing defects ONLY. Multi-purpose and/or models that include accessories may require registration. Please refer to the product manual for warranty information.
- Alarms: All Personal and Home Series alarms have a 1-year limited warranty due to manufacturing defects. Registration is not required.
- Stun Guns: Stun guns come with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects ONLY. Registration is required. Failing to register the warranty within 90 days of purchase will void the warranty.
- Civilian Pepper Projectile and Spray Launchers: Pepper Launchers come with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects ONLY. Registration is required. Failing to register the warranty within 90 days of purchase will void the warranty.
- Law Enforcement Pepper Projectile Launchers: Law Enforcement Launchers come with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects ONLY. Registration is required. Failing to register the warranty within 90 days of purchase will void the warranty.
- SABRE Free Replacement Guarantee: Register pepper product within 31 days of purchase. When the product is used in self-defense, contact SABRE to request a replacement and supply a police report. A replacement product will be processed and shipped within one week.
What’s Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Failures not caused by customer misuse or external damage
What’s Not Covered
- Products that are dropped, thrown, crushed, or slammed in doors
- Normal wear and tear
- Lost items
- Any product tampered with, modified, or used outside its intended purpose
- Damage from accidents, abuse, improper storage
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Email us.
- Include the following:
- Description of the issue
- Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmations)
- Photos or videos showing the defect
- Customer name and/or serial number of item registered (if applicable)
- Once approved, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
- Ship the item back within 15 days of RA# issuance (customer pays shipping unless otherwise noted).
- Upon inspection if the product qualifies:
- SABRE will issue a replacement, repair the product, or provide a refund (at SABRE’s discretion)
Processing Time
- Claim review: 2-4 business days
- Replacement or refund (if applicable): 3-5 business days after receipt of returned item
